December is for movie marathons, family gatherings, and celebrations. But with busy schedules, holiday travel, and weather, this time of year can make it harder to give. Winter is one of the toughest times to maintain our community’s blood supply, and you can help change that.

Give blood this month and know you’re giving a gift that truly matters. A single donation can save multiple lives and during the holidays, that impact is even greater. Roll up your sleeve and help your neighbors have the healthiest holiday possible.

If you can donate, Versiti Blood Center of Dayton will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 20 at Reid Health in  Innovation Classrooms A and B. 

Our next blood drive this month is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 23 at Reid Health - Connersville Atrium. Then your next opportunity will be in the new year, with the first blood drive of 2026 scheduled for Jan. 6.
