Born in Xiamen, China, grew up in Hong Kong, and moved to Canada in 1987, Wong’s work often examines the fluid boundaries between history, memory, and the act of looking. His diverse portfolio includes painting, installation, and public engagement projects that prioritize stillness and meditative observation in an increasingly fast-paced world.Beyond his studio practice, Wong is a prominent voice in the arts community. His work has been exhibited extensively nationally and overseas, and he is widely recognized for his contributions to both art education and contemporary art through his art practice, acting as a bridge between diverse cultural and aesthetic perspectives.www.LamWong.comfor the August 26th event, please RSVP at ● Wednesday August 26, 2026 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM:o Book Launch + Artist Talk for "LAM WONG: CONVERGENCE/SEPARATION / 王藝林 : 聚散合离" Exhibition CatalogueJoin artist Lam Wong and esteemed art critic Yang Xiaoyan for a Chinese-language talk & book launch for LAM WONG: CONVERGENCE/SEPARATIONo Book Signing for "JEFF WALL’S VANCOUVER AND DOCUMENTARY LANDSCAPES" by Lam Wong
