We’ll provide gloves and shovels—all you need to bring is your enthusiasm!How you'll be making an impactA healthy urban forest is essential to building sustainable, resilient communities. In partnership with the City of Richmond Hill and Tree Canada, LEAF is continuing its restoration efforts at Meander Park through a community naturalization planting event.Since 2019, LEAF and the City have worked together to restore this site, with a total of 1,500 native trees and shrubs planned for planting in 2026 to increase biodiversity, improve stormwater management, reduce erosion, and enhance wildlife habitat within the Humber River watershed.
