It is home to forests, wetlands, meadows, kettle lakes, and parts of the the Humber River. Did you know the Humber River was designated to the Canadian Heritage Rivers System in 1999? These ORCCR events are part of a series of hikes to encourage Richmond Hill residents to get out in their community and learn more about the rich history and importance of the Humber River.Cancellation Policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a significant chance of thunderstorms or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 7:30 AM on the day of the event if there is a cancellation.
