Crown Lands

Crown Lands is a Canadian rock duo from Oshawa, Ontario, featuring vocalist/drummer Cody Bowles and guitarist/bassist/keyboardist Kevin Comeau. Known for their prog-rock influences, the band’s music often explores themes of resistance and social justice. Their name challenges the concept of Canadian "crown land"—territory taken from Indigenous peoples.

Since forming in 2015, Crown Lands has gained critical acclaim, winning Breakthrough Group of the Year at the 2021 Juno Awards and earning multiple nominations, including Rock Album of the Year for Fearless (2024). Their powerful songs, like End of the Road and White Buffalo, tackle historical and contemporary injustices.

They've toured with acts like Jack White, Greta Van Fleet, and Kiss, and worked with legendary producers Terry Brown, Nick Raskulinecz, and David Bottrill, solidifying their status as a modern force in rock.
