We made it to Spring! We will soon gather again at the intersection of Big Bend and Manchester in Maplewood, this time from 4:30 until 6:00 pm. Just as before, this will be family-friendly, safe and welcoming to all who understand that trans rights are human rights! Bring your signs and flags (or borrow ours), bring your bubbles and bells, bring your bluetooth speakers and your kid friendly playlists!
We are delighted to share that we will be joined by PROMO, who will have a table near the CVS parking lot. PROMO is Missouri’s LGBTQ+ public policy and advocacy organization defending the community’s rights and fighting to expand protections. For more than 35 years, PROMO has been mobilizing Missourians — LGBTQ+ supporters, business and community leaders, legislators, and people from all backgrounds — to advocate in the halls of the Missouri State Capitol and within their own communities. Stop by the PROMO table and learn what's new and what's next.
If you've been with us before, commit to bringing someone new with you this round. If you're new, you only need to commit to having courage. If you've never participated in a protest or rally like this, this is an easy, safe entry point. You are welcome and encouraged to join us for a few minutes or the whole time. Our trans friends, neighbors and loved ones need vocal, visible support. Families of trans youth are desperate to find safe community. Let's show up!
