- **Event Description**: Bower-Gunnill-Dalton VFW Post 2267, Richland Center will host the local Memorial Day parade and services on Monday, May 25, 2026.
The patriotic Parade line-up will be at E. 3rd and N. Park streets (old RCHS High School location) next to the large hospital parking lot.  The Chapter VII Troop carrier will be available for Veterans who cannot ‘march’ or need a ride to the location and will leave the American Legion Post 13 parking area by 9:30 am. 

The Patriotic parade starts at 10:00 am proceeding onto Church street, turning right on 8th street then turning right into Saloutos drive at the cemetery.  Services will begin (about) 10:30 am with the broadcast supplied by WRCO with Beau Hinrichs as Master of Ceremony.   
         
Military Veterans are encouraged to participate along with ALL units that reflect a Patriotic theme and encourages the Public to participate whether traveling in the parade or as observers.    Weather permitting, a fly-over is scheduled about 11:00 am by the Buena Vista flying club.  
When services are complete at the cemetery, we will go to American Legion Post 13 (900 Flag Park) for the W. H. Bennett unit 71 Woman's Relief Corp Water service for those lost at sea.  

In case of inclement weather, services will be at the High school field house starting at 10:00 am with a slightly revised program.
