The Omaha National Cemetery in honor of 9/11 Patriot Day and National Day of Service Remembrance will be hosting a volunteer monument cleaning day on Saturday September 6, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.  If you are a veteran or a patriot (kids can also be patriots!) and would like to volunteer please be at the Omaha National Cemetery prior to 9:00 a.m. with a bucket and a nylon brush.  The Omaha National Cemetery Volunteer Committee has a limited supply of extra supplies if you don't have a bucket or a brush.  To clean the veterans headstones is an excellent way to both honor the veterans laid to rest and show your commitment to patriotism.  We will be cleaning Sections #1, #2, and if we have enough volunteers #3.
