Master Your Machine

New to sewing or still not quite best friends with your machine? This is the perfect place to start. Sewing Machine 101 is a relaxed, hands-on class designed to help you get comfortable and confident behind the wheel – no matter your machine’s make or model.

Sherry is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to sewing machines – vintage, modern, domestic, or brand-specific – she’s seen (and fixed) just about everything. In this small-group setting (limited to just 3 students), she’ll provide personalized guidance as you work through threading, tension, stitch selection, presser feet, maintenance, and all those mysterious buttons you’ve been avoiding.

You’ll also learn how to set up your workspace, handle fabric properly, and troubleshoot common hiccups – so you can leave class feeling capable, confident, and ready to sew.

Perfect for: Beginners, returning sewists, or anyone needing one-on-one help learning their machine.
