- **Event Description**: Ready to make a difference with Texans on Mission? Join us Saturday, April 18, for disaster relief orientation and specialty training in Dallas, Texas, at Watermark Community Church.

This is a required orientation that introduces the heart of our ministry, including our mission, history and opportunities to serve.

Participants will have the opportunity to select specialty training areas, including chainsaw, flood recovery, feeding, shower/laundry, temporary roofing, box unit operations, electronic support and more. You may choose one morning and one afternoon course. Lunch will be provided from noon to 1 p.m.

Orientation and recertification is a two-step process:
Register for the training.
Complete a background check.

This training equips you to deliver help, hope and healing to those impacted by disaster. We look forward to seeing you!

Important notes:
Chainsaw participants should dress for fieldwork (long pants, work shirt, boots or work shoes; no shorts or sneakers).
