🚌 THE FINAL RIDE – A Celebration of Sam Ervin 🚌
The Mo-Kan VW community bids farewell to a true icon. Sam Ervin, master of the open road and driver of the legendary Sage Green camper bus, takes his Final Ride on Saturday, August 23rd at 1:00 PM at Heuser Funeral Home, 320 E Walnut St, Rich Hill, MO 64779.
After the service, the procession continues with a graveside tribute just down the road.
This isn’t a black-tie affair—it’s Sam’s kind of gathering: casual, comfortable, and full of stories. Jeans, t-shirts, and VW gear are not only welcome, they’re encouraged.
For the encore, Sam will roll one last time in his beloved bus from the funeral home to the cemetery. We’re calling on all VWs near and far to join the caravan. Let’s pack the road with bugs and buses to give Sam the send-off of a lifetime.
