2025 Inland Northwest Permaculture Convergence
Theme: Roots and Interconnectedness
September 19–21, 2025 | Uhuru Community, Rice, Washington
The 15th Annual Inland Northwest Permaculture Convergence invites you to gather in community, ground your roots, and celebrate the intricate web of life that sustains us. This year’s theme, Roots and Interconnectedness, reflects how permaculture connects people, plants, soil, water, and community into one living system.
Over three days, we’ll explore how restoring local ecosystems naturally restores our local economies and communities. We’ll share knowledge on natural building, renewable energy, water harvesting, regenerative agriculture, and community resilience—while also enjoying hands-on learning, storytelling, and celebration.
Workshops & Topics Include:
Permaculture 101
Food Forests & Companion Planting
Mushrooms & Mycelial Networks
Managing Garden Pests Naturally
Guided Plant Walks
Fermentation & Herbal Oil Infusions
Tree Felling & Mudding
And many other rooted, hands-on activities

Living the Convergence:
Primitive and car camping spaces are available, with limited indoor shelter options. Water and electricity are on site, but limited—just enough to keep us connected while we live close to the land.
We will share meals together, weaving our flavors into the fabric of the weekend. Bring a pre-made dish or ingredients to prepare before the meal. And if you carry a skill, story, or teaching—bring it! We’ll make space for spontaneous sharing.
