Blacksmith Gathering 4 REFORGED REVOLUTION 11-12-13-14 May 2023 Reynlow Park, Reynoldsville Pennsylvania We will gather once again at Reynlow Park for our Greatest forge fest thus far. Here we forge metal, friendships, dreams, and the future. Everyone is welcome in the large pavilion forging area to pick up a hammer, create whatever they like on the anvils. Take this unique opportunity to develop your skills, strength, knowledge. Vendors and Smiths with forges can setup a day early on Wednesday May 10th. Gates officially open at 10am May 11th and the event runs day and night non stop till Sunday evening the 14st. Primitive and RV camping, tailgate flea market, food trucks, fireworks, camp fires, music. Winter Challenge 1 - (Most Lethal) Forge a throwing tomahawk & matching throwing knifes X2 for a throwing target competition at the event. • Winner earns #1 prize (Treasure Crate 1) Winter Challenge 2 - (Most Skilled) Complete all 3 wrought iron "Chain Gang Reforged" items (hammer, axe, knife) to unlock Phase 2 Challenge (wrought iron wagon tire spear). Winner chosen by group votes on final day. • Winner earns prize (Treasure Crate 2) 3: Event Challenge - (Most Badass) Forge 1 special weapon during the event of your choice (fighting knife or war hammer or battle hawk) from materials of your choice from scratch to be entered into (most badass weapon challenge). Group vote on winner final day Winner earns prize (Treasure Crate 3) 4: Team Challenge Group build a single large forged item with the entire event team to be permanently hung in Reynlow Park year round. For your involvement you will receive a # that will be drawn from hat on final day. Winner earns prize (Treasure Crate 4) * Competition throwing weapons can be made from Mono Steel, Damascus, Wrought, Bloom, Blister, Shear, or any other hybrid material, in any combination you so choose. Those entering the Winter challenges must announce and document their builds on the group. * Winter Challenge 1 & 2 both start today on Christmas 2022 till last day of event May 2023 ! * Vendors and Challenge contestants bring an item or items to be donated into prize boxes. * Message me to claim a spot, request materials.
