🌬 The Breath of Unburdening - English speaking event

A space for Release, Truth, and Return to the Self

🧠 What We’re Doing:

This is not a performance.
It’s not emotional hype.
This is a sacred moment where we face what has been buried inside us — the pain, the lies, the weight — and allow our body to release it.

Through breath, we respond to the body’s cry.
Through truth, we renounce the false beliefs that have held us captive. This is not about pretending. It’s about returning — to who you really are, and always were, beneath the pain.

💔 What Trauma Does:
• Trauma is not only what happened to you.
It’s what you came to believe about yourself because of what happened.
• It fragments the heart. It buries parts of us in shame. It turns survival strategies into identities.
• And at the center of that fragmentation is often a lie:
“It was my fault.”
“I’m not lovable.”
“I’m dangerous.”
“I have to be perfect.”
• These lies shape how we relate to others, how we react under pressure, and how we view others.

🧩 What IFS Has Shown Us:
• Inside each of us are parts that formed to carry pain or protect us from it.
• Some fight. Some hide. Some perform. Others shut down.
• These parts are not evil — they adapted to help us survive when no one else could.
• But many of them carry burdens they were never meant to carry — and they believe lies that were never true.

Unburdening is not erasing a part of ourselves.
It’s giving that part space to breathe… to speak… and then to finally lay it down.

🌪 What Breath Does:
• Breath is not just air.
It is the language of the nervous system.
It signals: “You’re safe now.”
• When we breathe with intention, we allow the body to finish what trauma interrupted.
• We don’t need to fix ourselves. We need to make space for what was never allowed: Grief. Rage. Longing. Safety. Stillness.

As we exhale, we let go of what is not ours to carry anymore.

🌿 What This Ritual Means:
• You’ve named the lie.
• You’ve seen what it has cost you.
• And now — in this moment — we respond:
By ripping off the duct tape
By releasing the breath
By receiving a new truth
By returning to your true identity

You are not the trauma. You are not the protector part.
You are not the addict, the rager, the performer, the one who disappears. You are still here. And that means healing is possible.

🕊 Final Invitation:

Take one more breath. Place your hand over your heart.
And thank the part of you that carried the lie. Say it quietly:

“You helped me survive. But I don’t need you to carry this anymore.”

When you are ready, remove the duct tape.
Say aloud or in your heart: “This is not my name anymore.”

Take the new piece. Write the truth. Wear it. And walk out of here free.

This is The Breath of Unburdening.

👥 About Baldur & Nicolai

Baldur Einarsson and Nicolai Engelbrecht were both shaped by lives marked by trauma, violence, and crime — and both chose the narrow path of transformation.

Today, they walk in freedom — not because they never fell, but because they got up, surrendered, and let truth rewrite their stories.

Their mission is to break the power of the lies that trauma plants, restore dignity to the broken, and lead others out of the darkness — through truth, breath, and love that does not let go.

🔹 Baldur Einarsson

Once known for violence and locked inside both prison walls and internal torment, Baldur encountered the love of God and began a journey of deep healing. From solitary confinement to international speaker, his life testifies that grace is greater than our worst moment.

He is now the owner of one of Iceland’s bigger trauma and family centers, a trauma-informed coach, therapist and author of Ice and Fire: Thawing a Murderer’s Heart — a story of pain redeemed, lies uprooted, and identity restored.

🔹 Nicolai Engelbrecht

Fifteen years ago, Nicolai walked away from a life of crime, addiction, and chaos to pursue a new future. Within two years, he became a breathwork teacher and motivational speaker — helping others access what he had to fight for: peace, presence, and purpose.

His work has reached over 27 countries, serving prisoners, leaders, and those hiding behind success. He has founded multiple healing projects, been featured in media, television, and a documentary, and continues to inspire people with one message:

Your past is not your sentence. It’s the soil where freedom can grow.

Together, Baldur and Nicolai now lead people into truth and release — helping them shed the lies of trauma, reclaim their true name, and finally breathe again.

Seminar is held in Ármúli 40. Third floor on 9. August at 10:00. Some unions participate in seminars like this.

Fee is not refundable but you can use your ticket to the next seminar.
