Kvöldið hefst á kröftugri klúbbastemningu með frumsýningu á Move With Pride. Áhorfendur taka stökkið inn í Klúbbinn með plötusnúði og fjölbreyttum hópi hinsegin flytjenda. Við fáum að heyra sögurnar sem leiddu flytjendurna út á dansgólfið; sögur um sársauka, ást, tár, svita, reiði og gleði ... og taktinn sem stöðvast ekki þótt sýningunni ljúki. Plötusnúðurinn Seth Sharp þeytir gestum svo um dansgólfið fram á nótt.

Move With Pride er dansverk eftir Rebeccu “Ondina” Hidalgo í samstarfi við Íslenska dansflokkinn. Flytjendur: Ondina, Alejandro Bencomo, Andrean Sigurgeirsson, Ásgeir Helgi Magnússon, Bryn Nóel Francis, Carl Angelo Bituin, Cristina Agueda, Dori Levitt Baldvinsson, Embla Guðrúnar Ágústsdóttir, Jeffre Scott Orlowski, Sigrún Ósk, Renata Arnórsdóttir, Sunneva Líf Albertsdóttir, Una Björg Bjarnadóttir. Tónlistarstjórnun: DJ Seth Sharp. Aðstoðar leikstjórn og aðgengisráðgjöf: Eva Yggdrasil. Ljósahönnun: Cristina Agueda. Sjónræn hönnun: Kalli MUA.

Viðburðurinn er partur af dagskrá Klúbbs Listahátíðar í Reykjavík. Þar eru allir viðburðir ókeypis og öll velkomin. Klúbbur Listahátíðar í Reykjavík er í Iðnó og er opinn alla daga fram á kvöld 30. maí - 14. jún.

The Festival Hub blossoms once again!
The evening kicks off with the premiere of Move With Pride; a powerful homage to the importance of Queer nightlife and dance, as told by a diverse cast of local Queer performers. Complete with a live DJ, this performance will immerse you into the “club” as you get to know the stories that brought these unique souls to the dance floor; the pain, love, tears, sweat, history, rage and joy … and the beat that promises never to stop.
After the performance, DJ Seth Sharp will send the crowd spinning onto the dance floor and into the night.

Move With Pride is a dance performance piece by Rebecca “Ondina” Hidalgo in collaboration with the Icelandic Dance Company. Performed by: Ondina, Alejandro Bencomo, Andrean Sigurgeirsson, Ásgeir Helgi Magnússon, Bryn Nóel Francis, Carl Angelo Bituin, Cristina Agueda, Dori Levitt Baldvinsson, Embla Guðrúnar Ágústsdóttir, Jeffre Scott Orlowski, Sigrún Ósk, Renata Arnórsdóttir, Sunneva Líf Albertsdóttir, Una Björg Bjarnadóttir. The event is part of the Festival Hub programme at the Reykjavík Arts Festival. All events are free of charge, and everyone is welcome. The Festival Hub takes place at Iðnó and is open daily from 30 May to 14 June, until the evening.
