Tónleikarnir eru afslappaðir. Áheyrendur dreifast um rýmið, geta legið á grjónapúðum, setið eða staðið eins og þeim sýnist og ferðast á milli staða. Að tónleikum loknum býður listafólkið upp á spjall.

Leidd er samstarfsverkefni dúettsins Ingibjarga (Ingibjörg Fríða Helgadóttir söngkona og Ingibjörg Ýr Skarphéðinsdóttir tónskáld), Kristófers Rodriguez Svönusonar slagverksleikara og Óskars Guðjónssonar saxófónleikara. Nálgun þeirra og bakgrunnur spanna víðfemt svið tónlistar en hér sameinast þau í leit sinni og vangaveltum um heilun í gegnum tónlist.

Viðburðurinn er partur af dagskrá Klúbbs Listahátíðar í Reykjavík. Þar eru allir viðburðir ókeypis og öll velkomin. Klúbbur Listahátíðar í Reykjavík er í Iðnó og er opinn alla daga fram á kvöld 30. maí - 14. jún.

In search of connection and processing of trauma through music, the duo Ingibjargir meets percussionist Kristófer Rodriguez Svönuson and saxophonist Óskar Guðjónsson. In the work Carried, the group improvises and plays their own compositions that intertwine into a coherent experience where the audience is invited, in silence or participation, to experience the healing power of music. The event is relaxed. The audience will be spread around the space on cushions, sitting, standing or moving as they please. The event will be followed by an artist talk.
 
The project is led by the duo Ingibjargir (Ingibjörg Fríða Helgadóttir, singer and Ingibjörg Ýr Skarphéðinsdóttir, composer) and percussionist Kristófer Rodriguez Svönuson and saxophonist Óskar Guðjónsson. Their approaches and backgrounds span a wide range of music, but here they come together in their search and reflections on healing through music.

The event is part of the Festival Hub programme at the Reykjavík Arts Festival. All events are free of charge, and everyone is welcome. The Festival Hub takes place at Iðnó and is open daily from 30 May to 14 June, until the evening.
