Krummi Björgvinsson og Pétur Ben stíga saman á svið á einstökum tónleikum þar sem nándin ræður ríkjum og hver tónn fær að lifa til fulls. Þeir eru báðir þekkt söngvaskáld, listamenn sem hafa á undanförnum misserum sent frá sér nýtt efni sem hefur snert strengi í hjörtum hlustenda og vakið verðskuldaða athygli.

Þetta kvöld verður ekki aðeins tónleikar heldur einnig falleg augnablik og samvera. Lítill heimur þar sem orð, hljómur og þögn fléttast saman í eitthvað sem ekki verður endurtekið.

Tónleikarnir fara fram 1. Maí á tónleikastaðnum Fantasíu á vinnustofu Kjarvals Austurstræti 10. Miðaverð er 6990 kr og fást á Tix.is.

Krummi, er íslenskur söng og lagahöfundur sem er með rætur í íslenskri og alþjóðlegri tónlistarhefð og hefur samfellt verið að þróa sinn einstaka stíl sem sameinar norræna melankólíu og klassískan alt-country hljóm. Nýja lagið hans „Smile Till it Ends“ sem nýverið kom út markar skýrt næsta skref í hans listrænu vegferð og gefur tóninn fyrir þá plötu sem væntanleg er síðar á árinu. Krummi kemur fram með útbreidda vængi, nakinn og berskjaldaður eins og hann er, án varna, þar sem tónlistin fær að tala fyrir allt sem orð ná ekki utan um.

Pétur Ben er tónlistarmaður þekktur fyrir að blanda saman indie, folk og rokki með persónulegu ívafi. Nýverið gaf Pétur frá sér plötuna Painted Blue sem var tilnefnd sem plata ársins á Íslensku tónlistarverðlaununum 2026. Pétur er þekktur fyrir ófyrirsjáanlegar og fjölbreyttar tónleikaupplifanir þar sem hann fléttar saman eigin ólíkum lagasmíðum við óvæntar og skemmtilegar ábreiður.

At Fantasía, in the warm and intimate setting of Kjarvalsstofa, two of Iceland’s most seasoned voices, Pétur Ben and Krummi Björgvinsson come together for a rare and deeply personal night of music. Both veterans of the Reykjavík  music scene, they carry with them years of experience, quiet intensity, and a shared love for honest songwriting.

Expect a rich blend of folk, alternative country, and Americana music that feels both familiar and freshly unearthed. Songs that wander, confessions wrapped in melody, and moments that settle gently into the room. A night that may not come around again anytime soon.

Both artists have recently released new music, met with warmth and heartfelt reception, and this evening offers a chance to hear those songs as they were meant to be, up close, alive and personal 

Krummi, Icelandic singer-songwriter rooted in both Icelandic and international musical traditions, and he has continuously developed a distinctive style that blends Nordic melancholy with a classic alt-country sound. His new song, “Smile Till It Ends,” recently released, clearly marks the next step in his artistic journey and sets the tone for an album expected later this year. Krummi takes the stage with wings outstretched and open, without defenses allowing the music to speak for all that words cannot contain.

Petur Ben’s music ranges from minimal contemporary folk songs to indie rock. Petur Ben recently released the album Painted Blue, which was nominated for Best Album at the 2026 Icelandic Music Awards. He is known for his unique and gripping concerts, where he intertwines his own complex songs with his personal take on his favorite covers.
