Heimstónlist í Hörpu er viðburðaröð í fjölskyldudagskrá Hörpu þar sem gestir fá að kynnast tónlist og menningu ólíkra heimshluta í gegnum lifandi flutning, þátttöku og samveru. Röðinni lýkur með heimstónlistarhátíð fyrir börn í júní 2026.
Á þessum fjórða viðburði raðarinnar dýfum við okkur í menningarheim Mið- og Austur-Evrópu, með áherslu á Pólland, Serbíu og Úkraínu. Við kynnumst nýjum hljóðfærum, lærum takta og stef og njótum tónlistarinnar saman í notalegri stund.

World Music in Harpa is part of Harpa’s family program, inviting audiences to explore music and culture from different parts of the world through live performance, interaction, and shared experience. The series will conclude with a children’s world music festival in June 2026.
At this fourth event in the series, we explore the musical traditions of Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on Poland, Serbia, and Ukraine. Guests will be introduced to unique instruments, rhythms, and melodies, and enjoy a warm, participatory session for all ages.
