Verkin eru innblásin af síbreytilegu ástandi hugans, heimsins og hins líkamlega veruleika. Þau kalla fram vitund um hið óstöðvandi flæði augnabliksins - og minna á að allt sem er, er á leið áfram; að þetta mun líka líða hjá.

We welcome you to the opening of a new solo exhibition by Edda Karólína Ævarsdóttir at Herma, Hverfisgata 4, on April 17th, from 18-20.

In her exhibition ‘Allt fram streymir’ or ‘All flows forward’ Edda Karólína debuts a new body of sculptural installation work, accompanied by a soundscape from artist Dagur Sölvi Halldórsson. 

Inspired by the concept of the ever evolving state of mind, state of the world and state of physical being, the works stand as a reminder of the constant flow of the present, and the idea that ‘this too shall pass’. 

‘You come from the earth, you shall become the earth again’

The exhibition opens on the 17th of April and will run until the 26th.
