The goal is simple: make the unfamiliar feel more familiar, so if an emergency ever happens, people feel a little more informed and a little less afraid.

July 16th- Adventure Smart: Outdoor Safety

Helping you enjoy the outdoors with more confidence, preparation, and safety awareness. EVENT DESCRIPTION: Summer in Idaho means hiking, biking, climbing, floating, riding, exploring, and making memories outside. This event helps community members stay safe while doing the things they love.
Guests can learn practical tips related to hydration, sun protection, biking, hiking, ATV safety, water recreation, trail preparedness, and more. The focus is on helping families feel confident, prepared, and informed before heading outdoors.

August 13- Be Ready: Emergency Basics

Practical, hands-on education to help community members respond confidently in common summer emergencies.
EVENT DESCRIPTION: From CPR and Stop the Bleed to tourniquet basics and knowing where to go for care, this event is focused on giving people practical, life-saving knowledge they can use when it matters most. This event empowers families with simple steps, helpful guidance, and real-world education around common emergencies and urgent situations that can happen during the summer months.
