"I still remember the first time I painted outside, I was completely overwhelmed by the complexity of the landscape in front of me. The colours, the shapes, the details, I had no idea what to do. Our work shop will investigate questions that help us interpret the scene we're painting. How do we simplify what we see? What is my focal point? How do we create depth? What colours do we mix for that tree in the distance? They may seem like simple questions, however, they are questions you ask yourself every time you step outside to paint with the land. Our workshop would suit beginners and experienced painters alike with some experience painting, or at least colour mixing preferable to get the most out of the class."
