Join Revelstoke Bear Aware Society for a town-wide cherry harvest!

Every summer, fruit trees across Revelstoke produce more cherries than homeowners can use. When left unpicked, this fruit can attract bears into our neighbourhoods. The Cherry-Pick-A-Thon is a fun community event focused on harvesting as many cherries as possible before they become a wildlife attractant.

Volunteers will travel together to a series of pre-arranged properties throughout the community, picking cherries that will be shared locally and used to support food security initiatives.

No experience is necessary. Whether you're a seasoned gleaner or simply looking for a fun way to spend the day, we'd love to have you join us.

Registered volunteers will receive an email before the event with the meeting location, route plan, and any supplies they should bring.
