Bring your reading/listening material of choice and enjoy this stress free time to read with others around you.
Usual agenda! Bring earbuds if you need to drone out any excess noise.
6 - 6:30 pm - Arrive, get your name tags, discuss your books, book stack photo time!
6:30 - 7 - book swap
7 - 8 pm - Silent reading hour
8 -8:30 pm - Continue to read or mingle with your SBC-ers.
BOOK SWAP INSTRUCTIONS :
If you would like to participate in the book swap, view instructions below!
1. Bring a Book Wrapped In Paper and write your own descriptions about them. (Tip: reviews on the backs of books offer a plethora of beautiful words to use.) Exchange a book that you’ve enjoyed and would love to spread cheer and good reads to someone else - can be pre owned or new, your choice!
2. At the event, everyone participating will choose from a random pile of numbers
3. Once all participants are ready, we'll call out the number and you go up and choose a book from the stack!
4. Go Home With your new book and enjoy! We can even keep the exchange love going and bring back your books the next meeting and see if anyone else wants to give it a read.
