Discover the hidden abundance of the Ozarks through the eyes of a chef who has spent years studying its edible landscape. In this engaging, educational class, Chef Dyllan, owner of “Wild Foods by Dyllan” will guide you through the fundamentals of foraging in our region, what grows here, when to harvest it, and how to identify wild foods safely and sustainably.

You’ll learn how to recognize common edible plants, mushrooms, herbs, and seasonal ingredients unique to the Ozarks, as well as look-alikes to avoid. Dyllan also shares how wild foods support local ecosystems and how to forage respectfully, ethically, and in alignment with conservation practices.

Drawing from his rich culinary background and deep love for local ingredients, Dyllan will explain how foraged foods can be used in everyday cooking to elevate flavor, nutrition, and creativity. This class is perfect for beginners, homesteaders, gardeners, and anyone curious about bringing the wild back into their kitchen!
