5th grade students and their families are invited to attend to learn more about middle school and how to
select courses from Maywood staff. Below is the schedule for the evening:
6:00-6:40pm: Welcome to MMS in Gym (Doors Open at 5:45pm)
Course Request Process Overview
Options for ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science, PE/Health, Electives
6:40-7:30pm: Choose Your Own Charger Adventure!
Considerations for Math/Science Alternative Pathways in Gym (6:45-7:05pm)
Campus Tour in Courtyard (Self-Guided or with WEB Leader)
Community Resource Fair in Cafeteria (including Classes, Activities, Support Staff, PTSA)
Open a Locker Challenge in 200 Hallway
