- **Event Description**: Autumn Arts Workshops are a curated selection of workshops offered by the Prairie Arts Council in the second half of the year. 

On October 16th, students will join Wheatfield artist, Joshua Smith and paint vignettes of their favorite birds using mixed media techniques combining watercolor, ink, and colored pencils. Students will be provided photo references of the birds to paint. All supplies will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own brushes and watercolor paints if they wish. Class will break for lunch, students may leave or bring a sack lunch. Students may stay after the workshop ends to complete their work.

Ages 13 to Adult.
Location: Carnegie Center, 301 N Van Rensselaer St, Rensselaer 
Date: Thursday, October 16 at 10AM - 3PM CST (1 hour break for lunch at noon)
