Arrive early at 12 noon to grab some yummy food and drinks available for purchase. Painting will begin at 1pm. There will also be a raffle to benefit Feral At Heart, so come ready to WIN! This Family friendly event will be the purrfect way to spend your Sunday! Come support Feral At Heart and their mission to help cats and kittens in our area by facilitating Trap and Release after neutering. The left ear is tipped in this process so that in the future those feral cats will be recognized. This Van Gogh inspired painting is in honor of Feral At Heart's hard work. A stencil will be available, but as always creativity is encouraged.

Feral at Heart is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the lives of feral and community cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

TNR is the humane solution to addressing the community cat populations. TNR stops the breeding cycle, addresses community concerns, reduces complaints about cats, and improves the overall wellbeing of existing community cats. We help provide TNR services for the Reno/Sparks community.

In addition to TNR, Feral At Heart intercepts young kittens from the streets before they turn feral. These kittens are socialized, sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and adopted into loving homes.

In the year 2022, Feral at Heart accomplished 337 TNR’s and 95 kitten adoptions.

Each TNR cost is $25 per cat and each adoptable kitten costs between $100-130 for vet services (plus more if any extra vet visits occur).
