Discouraged that challenging behaviors keep happening in your afterschool programs? Let’s dive deeper into behavior guidance and learn how we can change the way we think about discipline; all while learning prevention strategies. Steps in guiding children’s behavior will be discussed as well as guidance on behavior plans.

Training Objectives:

1 . By the end of this session, learners will Identify what behavior guidance is and changing the way we think about discipline.

2 . By the end of this session, learners will Recognize prevention strategies that can be implemented into your program.

3 . By the end of this session, learners will Demonstrate steps for guiding children’s behavior and utilizing behavior plans.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
