The Reno Pops Orchestra invites the community to celebrate the magic of the season at Festive Carols: World Edition on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at UNR’s Nightingale Concert Hall. This heartwarming winter concert showcases holiday music and traditions from around the globe, spotlighting the universal joy of festive celebrations. 
This concert’s program includes such holiday favorites as: 
• “Ukrainian Bell Carol” – composed by Mykola Dmytrovich Leontovych 
• “The Trumpet Shall Sound” – composed by George Frederick Handel 
• “Candy Cane Christmas” – composed by Darius Rucker, Frank Rogers, and Steve Leslie 
The evening will also feature vocal performances by UNR student vocal stars, Hunter Healy and Xander Holcomb, as well as a special appearance by Reno’s Premiere Treble Vocal Ensemble, Bella Voce, directed by Jennifer Tibben. The Reno Pops Orchestra will also host a short audience sing-along, which will be directed by Reno Pops Conductor, Dr. Jane K. Brown. Audiences can expect a blend of beloved classics, international carols, and choral selections that highlight the diversity and richness of holiday music from around the globe. 
Bring your family and friends for an uplifting musical experience that celebrates unity, culture, and the spirit of the season—all performed by one of Northern Nevada’s treasured community orchestras. Admission is free; Donations are gratefully accepted.
