Our Two Day Outdoor First Aid course covers the knowledge and practical skills needed to manage emergency situations in outdoor and remote environments.
Whether you work professionally outdoors or spend significant time in the hills, on the water, or in other remote settings, this 16 hour course prepares you to deal with a range of incidents, including situations where help may be delayed.
Our lead trainer Gary brings over 35 years of experience in mountain and outdoor environments, including 18 years in Mountain Rescue as a medic, search manager and training officer, alongside extensive mountaineering and mountain biking leadership.

Casualty assessment and ongoing care
Airway management and recovery position
Basic Life Support and CPR
Severe bleeding and shock
Head, spinal and limb injuries
Hypothermia and environmental exposure
Common medical emergencies
Incident management and evacuation planning
Legal responsibilities and first aid kit considerations

Group Size: Maximum 10 participants. A minimum number of participants is required to run the course. If minimum numbers are not met, we will contact you in advance and offer a refund or transfer to another date. If the course is fully booked, you can join the waitlist and we will let you know if a space becomes available.
Pre-requisites - Participants must be aged 16 or over and able to safely participate in practical training and assessment activities. All candidates must attend the full 16 hours of the course.
