Welcome to the 2026 Blount County Fire & EMS Jr. Fire Academy happening at Southeastern School on June 1, 2026, at 8:00 AM (Central Time). Get ready for a day filled with exciting activities, hands-on learning, and fun adventures! Join us as we explore the world of firefighting and emergency medical services. Are you interested in learning what it is like to be a firefighter or emergency responder?

In addition to teaching teamwork and learning what it takes to become a firefighter, you will be immersed in the life of the Fire and EMS service.

• Camp is open to students from anywhere in the U.S.
• Students must be between 12 and 18.
• Students must be capable of strenuous physical activity.
• Parents are responsible for getting children to and from camp.
• Students will follow all Blount County BOE policies and procedures, including technology use guidelines, as outlined in the current parent/student handbook and the current student code of conduct.
• Students will not be allowed to have cell phones.
• Students will follow the directions of the Academy Directors and Staff at all times.
