While not the largest piece of land, the property features both subtle and dramatic elevation changes while featuring numerous other elements in the land. There are ridge lines, rolls of different sizes, and even a half pipe in which the designers routed the par-3 8th hole. That randomness was key to its selection as architect Mike Koprowski wanted a site that was different than other golf properties you can find in the Carolina Sandhills (Pinehurst, Aiken, and others).
