Floating Sound Bath November 16, 2025
Release and heal as the sound washes over you. During this sound bath, participants are cocooned in a hammock, fully clothed and are “bathed” in sound.
The workshop will begin with an optional smudging. Participants can indicate a wish to opt-out by crossing their arms over their chest during this time.
Next, Adrienne will get the energy in your body moving, introduce you to the fabric and guide you through a deep yet gentle stretch to set the tone and get you ready to let go.
Once you are relaxed and settled in your hammock, the sound bath will begin. Lee -Ann will create the sound through a variety of techniques with various instruments, primarily the gong(s) but may also include crystal singing bowls, various chimes, shakers, etc. The various frequencies produced each have their own specific healing benefits. DNA not only reacts to, but can be repaired with, certain frequencies. There will be periods of loud/intense sound that will vibrate through your body, balanced with periods of softer/quieter/sweeter sounds, working with your nervous system. While the Sound Bath experience is different for each individual, it is not uncommon for strong emotions to be brought to the surface, to be cleared through the process. While a sound bath can be meditative, it can be very emotional and intense, as it is meant to be a healing experience, not simply a relaxing one.
