Come celebrate Simcha Torah with us this Sunday, October 4! We are delighted to welcome Rabbi Elizheva Hurvich from the Bay Area for an afternoon of Torah, Hebrew letters, creativity, food, and fun.

If you are able to bake Hebrew-letter cookies but need cookie cutters, please contact Sara at 707-391-9244.

Please RSVP! It will help us make sure we have enough cookies and art supplies for everyone. RSVP below, or text Janae at 707-354-2035.

🎉 Here’s What’s Happening!

12 noon — Vegetarian Potluck Lunch
Bring a dish to share and join us for lunch. And if you’re inclined to bring dessert, we’d love volunteers to make Aleph Bet cookies — Hebrew-letter shaped cookies or cookies decorated with Hebrew letters.

A Celebration of Torah & Hebrew Letters
After lunch, we’ll enjoy a short service with stories and a Kabbalistic creation story from Rabbi Isaac Luria. Then we’ll bring out the Torah, read from the very end, and roll it all the way back to the beginning!

Create Your Own Blessing
Rabbi Elizheva will introduce us to the power of the Hebrew letters, inspiring our creative project. We’ll make amulets and write blessings for body, mind, heart, and soul.

Children and adults are all welcome!

Come bring your appetite, curiosity, creativity, and joy. Let’s celebrate Sukkot and Simcha Torah together — with Torah, Hebrew letters, art, and community!
