Wet Felted Christmas Stockings

Create a unique Christmas stocking from scratch using the magical art of wet felting.

With the guidance of Sam from Harmony Permaculture you’ll learn the traditional wet felting process: layering soft, colourful wool fibres, adding warm soapy water, and gently rubbing and rolling until the fibres fuse together to form a strong, beautifully textured fabric. To shape the stocking in a seamless piece you’ll work over a resist template, choosing your own palette of colours, from classic reds and greens to frosty winter shades or bold brights. If time allows, you can add finishing touches by needle felting small decorative details onto your stocking.

You’ll leave with a festive keepsake to treasure and the know-how to continue exploring this versatile, tactile craft. Perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike.
