Once the surface feels alive, each person introduces a figure, creature or object using adhesive and shimmering gold leaf. Rather than filling the form, the gold frames it, allowing the subject to glow out of the painting — precious, strange and theatrical.

This workshop is about exploration, not perfection. Sonia shares her own methods for working with gold, texture and composition, while leaving plenty of room for play and surprise. No experience is needed — curiosity is enough. All materials are provided, and everyone leaves with a striking, tactile artwork celebrating contrast, excess and the joy of making something unapologetically their own.
