Global Game Jam 2026 Prep Night

Join us in person at DigiPen Institute of Technology or online on Twitch and YouTube for an evening of talks and Q&A sessions with games industry veterans to get you prepared for the main event, Global Game Jam 2026 happening at DigiPen, AIE and the Seattle Indies Discord on Friday Jan 30th - Sunday Feb 1st.

Featuring talks from:
Robert Rood: Using Unity at Game Jams
Toño Jimenez: Choosing the Game Tasks That Matter
Ashley Bartnick: Design Process for Game Jams
David Hildebrandt: Using GIT at Game Jams

Schedule:
6:00-6:30: Arrival and networking
6:30-8:30: Talks/Q&A
8:30-9:00: Wrap up networking and cleanup

These four high powered talks will give you all of the preparation you need to get the most out of your game jam experience at GGJ. Use the networking time to find team members or chat with the presenters to ask further questions about their talks and experience working in the industry.
