Objayda are a trio making original alternative pop music continuously since 1982
"A curious but crammed shoebox full of instant delights. A punky violette noir, where the Cocteau's came and met Kate Bush head on" (Melody Maker 1986)

COLD JULY is a young band based in Guildford, that writes timeless, harmony-driven, Indie-Folk-Pop songs with classic singer-songwriter influences that resonates across multiple generations of music fans. 

With a Male/Female co-lead dynamic, our sound evokes Rumours-era Fleetwood Mac and the California music scene of the early 70s, but it also draws from the melodic craftsmanship of Crowded House, the anthemic acoustic rock of the Goo Goo Dolls, as well as the harmony-drenched indie-folk of Flyte, and the strong emotional storytelling of Passenger and Phoebe Bridgers.

Project Culture are a 4-piece art rock band who have spent the last few years gigging relentlessly, charming audiences with their unique blend of melodic guitar work and socially conscious lyrics. They are just as inspired by books, films, theatre and stand-up comedy as they are by indie rock, living up to their name by drawing from a wide range of pop culture to create something truly their own. The band have been praised by BBC Introducing for their “post-punk energy and the sense of urgency in the songwriting” and their ability to “address and transform clichés into original turns of phrase” in their lyrics and performed at Alexandra Palace in 2023 as part of the venue's 150th birthday celebrations.
