Event Description
Sydney Tango Weekend 2026 is a dance-focused, marathon-style tango event designed for dancers who want to immerse themselves fully in social dancing across an entire weekend.
All activities take place at a single venue, providing a seamless and relaxed experience with no travel between locations.
Venue:
Move Studio, Randwick - 161 Alison Road, Randwick
The venue offers a high-quality wooden floor, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, and easy street parking.
All milongas, food and social activities take place at the same location throughout the weekend.

The weekend features four experienced DJs from across Australia (alphabetical order):

DJ Mark (Adelaide)
DJ Mo (Sydney)
Together they provide continuous, high-quality music suitable for long hours of social dancing.

Catering
To support uninterrupted dancing throughout the weekend:
Saturday and Sunday afternoons: finger food, refreshments, tea and coffee
Friday night and Saturday night: finger food, refreshments and an open wine bar
Participants are not required to leave the venue to find food or drinks during the milongas.
Catering includes options for no dietary restrictions, vegetarians and vegans.
Tickets
Full Weekend Pass: $250 plus booking fee.
The ticket includes access to the full three-day program: all milongas (20+ hours of dancing), catering as outlined.
