- **Event Description**: UNIT UNSW and REISA UNSW are pleased to announce the launch of the Investment Banking Development Program (IBDP) 2026. This program is designed to support students aspiring to pursue a career in investment banking by equipping them with the skills, insights, and preparation required to compete effectively for internship and graduate opportunities.

The program is delivered across two trimesters and is structured around two core pillars:

1. Getting the Job
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the investment banking recruitment process, including applications, interviews, and assessment centres. Participants will gain practical insights from previously successful students on how to position themselves strongly for internship offers.

2. Keeping the Job
Learn how to perform effectively during an internship and maximise your chances of securing a return or graduate offer, with guidance from industry professionals and former interns.

Participants will gain practical exposure to the investment banking recruitment landscape, develop a strong understanding of industry expectations, and engage directly with industry representatives through structured workshops and networking sessions.

Program Schedule - Session Dates

Session 2: Sunday, 22nd March
Session 3: Sunday, 12th April
Session 4: Sunday, 3rd May
Session 5: Sunday, 24th May
Session 6: Sunday, 14th June
Session 7: TBD

The program runs across Semester 1 and Semester 2, with 3-4 sessions per term with each session running for approximately 3 hours. Places are limited. All UNIT and REISA members, including the incoming 2026 subcommittee, will receive free access to the program.
