Worlds of Sci-Fi & Fantasy: Gareth L Powell, Anna Stephens and Mike Brooks

Aspiring writers and fans of science fiction and fantasy can't afford to miss this event with 3 of the most successful and highly regarded authors in speculative fiction.

Gareth L Powell is the award-winning writer of Embers of War and Stars And Bones and also The Well in the Doctor Who universe. His work has been translated into 12 languages. To date, he is the author of 22 books including science fiction, horror-tinged police procedural, and speculative thrillers. He has twice won the British Science Fiction Association Award for Best Novel.

Anna Stephens is a UK-based writer of epic fantasy, including the epic Godblind trilogy and novels for Marvel and the Warhammer Horror imprint, as well as being an editor and mentor with The Write Advice.

Mike Brooks is the author of The God-King Chronicles epic fantasy series; the Keiko series of grimy space-opera novels; and various works for the Warhammer Black Library imprint, including Brutal Kunnin, Huron Blackheart, and The Lion: Son of the Forest.

This event, in affiliation with the British Fantasy Society, will be an entertaining and engaging deep-dive into how these incredible authors create their worlds and how they entered the publishing industry.

There will be a Q & A and books will be on sale on the day.
