I am hosting a Town Hall on the True North Behavioral Health Campus Project, a $200M application for state funds to address crisis behavioral health needs in our community. It's critical that the community gets many robust opportunities to learn about this project, ask hard questions, and provide input.
December 8th will be an opportunity for this, during which, for the first time, the public will get to hear a presentation from project lead, Signature Healthcare, and Arch Collaborative, which assembled local stakeholders and led the grant writing process.
Following this presentation, I'll lead a conversation with an incredible group of experts on a wide range of related issues in the community. The panel will include:
- Signature Healthcare COO Alan Eaks
- Arch Collaborative CEO Kimberly Johnson
- HHSA Director Christy Coleman
- Retired Shasta Community Health Center CEO Dean Germano
- Shasta County Undersheriff Gene Randall
- Hill Country CEO Jo Campbell
- Mercy Hospital Sr. Director of Emergency and Critical Care Services Greta Hill
- Local Psychiatrist Dr. Sager
- Local Family Medicine Physician, Dr. Doug McMullin
- Sierra–Sacramento Valley EMS Agency Deputy Director Patrick Comstock
Following the panel conversation, I will be selecting questions from the audience to ask the panel. You can submit your questions now electronically:

I've been told the Connected Living facility has room for 350 people and I'd love to fill it. Please help get the word out!
