Ereka began her career in the medical field but never felt it was a right fit. She worked for Tehama County at Women, Infant & Children’s Agency where she thrived counseling new moms. She wanted to experience a new side of Public Health and work with a broader and larger community, so started a job as a Public Health Nutritionist at Shasta County Public Health in 2005.She has also taught nutrition at Shasta College and Diabetes Classes at Shasta Community College Health Center.Join either in person at First 5 Shasta, 393 Park Marina Circle, or on ZoomProfessionals and Providers serving young children and their families – feed your belly & feed your brain! The 0-to-5 Smart Lunch features experts and speakers, some local, some from afar, addressing a variety of early childhood topics and concerns.
