- **Event Description**: Good FridayWe remember the ultimate sacrifice Christ makes for the world on Mount Calvary. At noon we will pray the solemn liturgy of Good Friday, consume the remainder of the Holy Sacrament, and extinguish the Christ candle, remembering how Jesus' own life was consumed and extinguished. This is perhaps one of the most powerful services we hold each year. At 3pm the ECW will offer the Stations of the Cross, tracing Jesus' steps across Jerusalem to the Mount of Crucifixion. For those who can only come in the evening, at 6pm we will repeat the solemn liturgy of Good Friday, but in place of communion we will take extra time for the veneration of the cross. Here we take up the cross most fully in our imaginations and in our souls.
