- **Event Description**: You are invited to attend and/or cover the Enterprise-Anderson Groundwater Sustainability Agency’s Workshop on groundwater in Shasta County: Date: Wednesday November 19 2025 Time: 5:30-7:00 p.m. Location: Lema Ranch 800 Shasta View Drive Redding The event will include a short presentation followed by a poster session with staff available to answer questions about local groundwater conditions development of plans to sustainably manage groundwater resources in the Enterprise and Anderson Subbasins and potential impacts that may occur if groundwater is not protected. Topics will include: How California is protecting groundwater under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act Local groundwater conditions and impacts on streams farms and communities Understanding land subsidence and what it means for Shasta County’s future How EAGSA is minimizing costs for residents This workshop offers an opportunity for the media to learn about and share important information on groundwater an issue affecting water security agriculture and community well-being in our region.  A press release and additional materials are attached.
