- **Event Name**: Singing in the key of sea
- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 26 Feb, 2026 at 09:00 am – Thu, 26 Feb, 2026 at 12:00 pm
- **Event Description**: We are an inclusive group of people who get together to sing songs of the sea, and shanties in particular. The songs we sing cover most aspects of life, and death, at sea. Gales, freezing weather, fishing, whaling, battles, getting drunk when ashore and being robbed, getting drunk and being shanghaied, and just getting drunk all get a mention.
Come and sing with Shanty Brisbane at our last session of the year, and be sure of a warm welcome and a cold beer..
