Steeped in the ways of American roots, rock & roll, and vintage country, the central MN based duo made up of Tony Cuchetti and Blair Krivanek breathes life into their on-stage performances with an honest and relatable approach. Cuchetti's discovery of Country and Folk inspired his songwriting development, including embracing that moment of truth standing in front of an audience and hoping to make an impact. As Tony explains, “Music is so powerful in its effects on people. I think people, intrinsically, feel way more than they think they do or give themselves credit for.” Storytelling is key to Cuchetti’s way of writing, following in the footsteps of songwriters like Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark, and Townes Van Zandt, who combined compelling details and situations with music that created a visceral emotional connection with their listeners. A working class musician who's lived through many of the topics he writes about. Joining forces with him is guitarist Blair Krivanek. Blair's sharp, yet subtle, guitar work is nothing short of virtuosic. His technically proficient, melodic, and deeply original interpretation of a wide range of styles adds a landscape to the duo's sound that makes their music immediately recognizable. The two musicians respect and listen to each other at the highest level, culminating in a unified artistic synergy. With their "long in the tooth" brand of music, the duo's presence is quickly realized by listeners fortunate enough to cross paths with them.
