Traditional Worship Service (2nd Sunday of Advent)

On this 2nd Sunday of Advent we look at John the Baptist. He is such an interesting person. He was a fashion plate and great dietician (/s) Most of all he was a strong...VERY strong voice calling out from the Wilderness calling people to repentance and to prepare for the Messiah. In the art world, John is often painted as pointing to Jesus. As such, we are to remember that our job is to point others to Jesus in our lives, with our words and with our actions.
We invite all to join us this Sunday to come and join us in worshiping our risen Lord and Savior. We'll lift up our joys and thanksgivings and hear more about John the Baptist and our own calling to point to Christ.
