Yoga Basics Workshop with Mela Stevens

If you are new to the practice of yoga, or desire to work on alignment for some base poses, join Mela Stevens, RYT-500, for this general practicum.

Included will be:
-introduction to basic yoga seated and standing poses
-how to best utilize yoga props including blocks, straps, blankets, and the wall
-breathing techniques to support moving in and out of yoga poses, and working with the nervous system for stress management/relief
-becoming embodied and learning your own yoga rhythm by listening to your body
