Masterchefs Jr. is a 4 class series of cooking classes designed to increase your child's culinary skills. Classes run every thursday for 4 weeks, starting Thursday November 7th.
Class 1: Kitchen Safety and Skills - the foundations of cooking skills involve learning about food safety, kitchen safety, knife safety and praticing. In this class we will be teaching the skills that will be used throughout the 4 weeks.
Class 2: Baking and Measuring skills - Learn how to properly measure out ingredients and the fundamentals of chemistry in baking.
Class 3: Protein Power - Eggs are so versatile and can be cooked in many different way. This class will teach your child all the ways to cook an egg to perfection. Knife skills continued.
Class 4: Action Packed Pasta! - From measuring to cutting to using stove and oven safety we will bring all the component of the last 3 classes in this action packed pasta class. We will be making pasta and pasta sauce from scratch, yum!
